First rainy ride of the season

Solo ride starting at Tokai gate up to Bridal path and back down.
Half way up the main uphill it started bucketing down and I had to take cover under the trees.
A few minutes later blue skies apeared again and I could continue my ride.

I took the "switchbacks" way down - though very cautiously as I hadn't seen another rider since I started my ride and felt like the last person in the world dropping into a real gnarly, slippery, rocky trail...I made it down in one piece and was ready for a warm cup of coffee so took the quickest way out via Vasbyt, sandy trail and My Roots or rather NO roots ;)

The plantation has been butchered, forest rubble where  singletrack used to be..

Strava details: 13.7km distance, 1hr37mins moving time, 589m elevation gain
